{ Slouch Hat }

Happy New Year! I can not believe it has been so long since I have posted. I was very busy through the holiday season. I made quite a few scarves and a should wrap. However, I forgot to take pics of any of them. Here is one I did take a photo of today. I found the pattern for this slouch hat through stampin' friend of mine...Maria. She has branched out into crocheting recently too. My youngest is lovin' all these crochet items I have made her recently. I will try and take some photos of some of the other items I have made for her. I have even got her started crocheting as well. She has started on her first Granny Square and is doing quite well with it.

{ A second Blanket with Arms }

Here is the second one I made. She picked out the yarn she wanted. I will admit though, I am not a fan of this yarn. I don't think I would buy it again. It is Phentex Worsted from Michael's. I think it is sold at other stores as well. I just am not a fan of this brand. It had a lot of flaws in the wool itself and I am not a fan of the overall final pattern. I am currently working with another yarn for another project and MUCH happier with it. However, I can not wait to make one for me. These are just too cozy! Alas, I have other projects on the go right now and looks like I will be making another blanket with arms...or two...for Christmas presents. So, looks like I will have to wait a bit longer for mine. ;0)

{ Blanket with Arms }

This is the perfect blanket for reading, watching a movie, playing your DS...just about anything. Love it! I am making one for daughter #1 and then one for myself! :0)

{ Cardi #2 }

Love the colors of this yarn and it is soooo soft. This is such a quick and easy pattern.

{ Bebop Cardi }

Now for something a little different. I made this for my youngest daughter. She LOVES it. She has warn it everyday since I made it! She has requested about 5 more in different colors. I am off to find some girly colors for her.

{ Pear }

I just love this little pear. Such a happy little guy. Should have stuffed him a bit more, but he still turned out pretty cute.

That's Eve from Wall-e. I saw this pattern and just had to make one. She turned out great. I did crochet the black face instead of using felt though.
